-Her voice is full of money -Tom finds out about gatsby and daisy -All these characters are empty on the inside and are trying to fill it -Tom realizes that his mistress and daisy don't want him anymore -daisy and gatsby ride together to the city -tom starts noticing what gatsby and daisy have between eachother -gatsby tells tom that daisy loves him not tom -myrtle gets hit by a car -tom thinks gatsby hit myrtle cause of his yellow car -gatsby sends nick to check up on daisy

I didn't show up to school like my fellow classmates to show the school what would happen if there was no immigrants. 7,000+ didn't show up today in Santa Maria that's a huge number. It's crazy how many people closer their businesses for the day and restaurants. My whole family stayed home and just watched the news and see how in other areas they protested.

-gatsbys name used to be james gatz -he attended college at st Olaf in southern Minnesota -gatsby fell in love with the rich lifestyle -Cody was a huge mentor and inspiration for gatsby -once Cody died he left gatsby $25,000 but he didn't inherit it due to problems with cody's wife -nick stops by gatsbys and finds tom there -tom is suspicious of what gatsby and daisy have -daisy and tom attend gatsby's parties -gatsby  finally feels happy once he kissed her

-Gatsby keeps mentioning cutting the grass -When nick says to not bring tom daisy responds with"who's tom" -gatsby meets daisy for the first time in almost 5 years -gatsby invites daisy & nick over to his house -gatsby continues by showing off his personal belongings to daisy

1) gatsby tells nick that before he was wealthy he served in ww1 and he earned a medal for valor.he basically gives his whole backstory and about he actually went to oxford. 2) Jordan tells nick the story of daisy and gatsby about way back then when he was stationed near her home where they fell in love but then he got sent off to war then he promised he'd come back. He never came back instead daisy married tom never loving him and really loving gatsby.

This chapters about gatsby's huge party he's throwing. Once he shows up he realizes that there's many people some may not have even been invited. Then nick has a conversation with a couple of people if they know anything about gatsby. Someone says he's killed a man & another says he was  a spy for the German. Someone also says that he's an oxford graduate. Then nick goes looking for gatsby & instead gatsby finds him. Once gatsby introduces himself he calls nick an old sport but then gets interrupted by a call from Chicago.then some guy tries driving but ends up crashing. Then nick said something about gatsby that his smile only comes in your life 4-5 times.
